God is calling the church to reach outside the box of the local church. Join us for an exciting and uplifting time of fun, faith, friends, coffee drinks and giveaways. An opportunity to empower and motivate us to grow and to live out our life of faith. To live out God’s view of who He has called us to be.
This year’s feature is Alpha, a curriculum exploring the Christian faith, which focuses on just this: that all people undoubtedly have questions about God and want to talk about them in a safe community. Alpha is a series of sessions based on the major questions of Christianity. It has reached millions of people and is run in 169 countries, evangelizing and discipling new converts to Christianity in churches, restaurants, prisons, homes, and wherever else you can think of.
Since launching Alpha at Evangel in Bismarck a year and a half ago, Nate Chapman, Connections Pastor, and his wife Kylie have helped lead 300 people and lay leaders through the course. They run the course with the theme, Food, Faith, Friends, and Fun. The strategy is based on community and discussion centered around a table of people sharing a meal together. This workshop will introduce you to Alpha course—a free resource for churches—and how you can use it to your advantage to disciple and win the lost in your community.
